Caitlin Clark Addresses Protecting Girls in Sports in Testy Post-Game Exchange with Reporter
Caitlin Clark on Sunday refused to be drawn into the debate over men in women’s sports.
In recent days, whatever takes place on the court in the WNBA has been secondary to whatever various big names say about whether men who claim they are “transgender” belong in women’s sports.
On Sunday, Clark made her first appearance at a post-game interview session since teammate Sophie Cunningham rattled liberal cages by saying men should not compete against women, as noted by Fox News.
“I think for us, like, you know, it’s not really a discussion we really have in our locker room,” Clark said in a video posted to X.
“I think it’s for leagues and the governing bodies to work with their athletes to find solutions,” she said.
“But our focus is on basketball and that’s what we talk about and how we can get wins. And obviously we didn’t do that tonight. So you need to find an area to improve in that way,” Clark said.

While I don’t watch any pro-sports whatsoever, I can’t help but know a little bit about Caitlin Clark from seeing all the news about how she has been treated by black players, especially the recent article about Phoenix’s Alyssa Thomas (a lesbian) and her one game suspension after she made contact with her fist to Caitlin Clark’s throat. I don’t know this as fact, but I would guess Caitlin’s silence about men in women’s sports may come from the fact that 38% of WNBA players publicly identify as lesbian or queer, and they may take offense to Clark speaking out about it, and continue to pummel her on the court. Many people probably remember that back in July, 11 U.S. lawmakers sent a letter to WNBA commissioner Cathy Engelbert questioning why the WNBA hasn’t addressed the physical treatment and safety of the Indiana Fever star. In my own personal opinion, the attacks because they come from black players, they probably don’t like a White player outshining them on the court, and also, because Caitlin is heterosexual. You go girl!
