Missouri woman federally indicted over threats against Austin Metcalf’s family: ‘I’ll kill you next’
A woman from Missouri has been hit with a federal indictment in Texas for allegedly threatening the family of Austin Metcalf after Karmelo Anthony was convicted of the teen’s murder.
Sharifa Nicole Henderson, 34, was arrested by police on September 11 after a grand jury in the Eastern District of Texas had charged her with three counts of interstate threatening communications. Anthony’s conviction was served on June 9.
According to the indictment, she used Facebook Messenger on June 10 to tell a Metcalf relative she would kill them and put them in a body bag, adding, “now this is a threat take me to court [expletive].” That same day, she phoned the Collin County government, whose office prosecuted Anthony, and reportedly vowed to “demolish” the Metcalf family and to “strangle” someone in the family, per Fox News.
The indictment quotes her as writing, “Don’t worry I’ll kill you next. I will hunt you forever until I kill you…I will be there. You will always have to look over your [expletive] shoulder.”
Each count carries a maximum sentence of five years if she is found guilty in court. Austin’s father, Jeff Metcalf, recently told FOX 4 that the family has gotten over 100 threats since the conclusion of the trial.
Anthony, 19, was found guilty more than a year after he fatally stabbed 17-year-old Metcalf at a regional high school track meet held at Kuykendall Stadium in Frisco, Texas, on April 2, 2025.
What the hell is happening in America today? Women receive pity for murdering their children, black teens run rampant in our streets, and here we have a White family having their lives threatened after an adult black teen murdered their son in cold blood. The scales of justice are tilted in favor of certain races, and the White race is not included. What is so impossible to realize for some of the family of the murderer, Karmelo Anthony? It’s pretty cut and dry right? Your family member killed a minor, which Austin Metcalf was, in cold blood. Your family member contacted his ex-girlfriend the day he murdered Austin saying he was on the verge of stabbing someone, his racist thoughts were found in social media posts, and then naturally, he was found guilty of murdering Austin. Imagine if the role was reversed, this poor Mom and Dad would still be getting threats! We live in very dangerous times when we have some people in America unwilling to accept responsibility and consequences for murder.
