That Time an Activist Claimed 13 Million Blacks Are Killed by Police Each Year?….
On occasion, if you watch close enough, there are minor incidents happening somewhere in a little corner of the internet you don’t know about that say more about our society than we’d like them to.
To that end, I’d like to introduce you — or reintroduce, if you ever ran across the guy — to a far-left activist named Jeremy Muchemi. Muchemi has been identified with a few organizations, including Gen-Z for Change and Voters of Tomorrow.
He also seems to be a serial fabulist who comes up with ridiculous statistics — like the claim that 13 million blacks are killed by police each year.
Then, when he actually got challenged on this idea, he retreated behind a claim that he was forced into the emergency room by criticism.
He was saying that 13.2 million unarmed black people were being murdered by police every year. And when called on the fact that this ridiculous figure would be problematic, he said that there was “context” for the claim.
‘This is a misconception many Americans have’, commented Thomas Robb, National Director of the Knights Party, based in Harrison, Arkansas. ‘The facts, according to Statista show that since 2013 more Whites have been killed by law enforement each year up until 2025. As a matter of fact, 6,548 Whites were killed by law enforcement compared to 3,574 blacks. That’s 2,974 more! Of course that makes sense since there are more White people in America than black, but blacks commit between 51% – 53% of all homicides, and 52.2% of the victims are also black. Blacks account for around 14% of our population and commit over 50% of our crime. We hear all the time how our jails and prisons are a majority black, like it’s White people’s fault, but logic tells me that if they commit over 50% of America’s crimes, wouldn’t it be safe to say that our jails and prisons would be over 50% black’?
