People who work hard, pay their taxes, and try to raise their families responsibly are watching their communities change while Washington debates endlessly and does little to protect the country\u2019s borders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ruling reinforces a basic principle that most Americans already understand: <strong>a sovereign nation has every right to decide who enters, who stays, and under what conditions.<\/strong> Immigration is supposed to be a lawful, orderly process \u2014 not something driven by loopholes, political pressure, or a system that rewards cutting in line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Across towns and neighborhoods, people see the strain caused by a border that is not secure: crowded schools, stretched public services, rising costs, and communities overwhelmed by policies that encourage illegal entry. These aren\u2019t abstract policy arguments. They\u2019re everyday realities for families who feel like their concerns are brushed aside by politicians who never face the consequences of their own decisions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This Supreme Court ruling is a reminder that <strong>the rule of law still matters<\/strong>, and that the federal government has the authority to set standards for permanent residency. But one decision does not repair decades of neglect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If America is going to remain stable and secure, then leaders must:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Enforce the border with real consequences<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>End incentives that encourage illegal entry<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Put the needs of American families first in all immigration decisions<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Restore order to a system that has been allowed to drift into chaos<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Americans deserve a government that protects their communities, their jobs, and their future. The Supreme Court\u2019s decision is a step toward restoring that responsibility \u2014 but it is only a step.
