Military has used up most of its precision long-range missiles during Iran war: report<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The U.S. Army has reportedly exhausted much of its stockpile of precision long-range missiles during the five months the U.S. has been at war with Iran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The depleted stockpiles are raising concerns about the U.S. military’s readiness for future conflicts, Reuters reported, citing unnamed sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The missiles, known as Army Tactical Missile Systems (ATACMS) and Precision Strike Missiles (PrSM), are the Army’s primary surface-to-air weapons. “Virtually all” of these missiles have been used up, the sources told Reuters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The missiles cost more than $1 million each and are a key part of the U.S. military’s arsenal, as they allow strikes from a safe distance. Without the missiles, President Donald Trump may have to rely on higher-risk piloted bombing missions should large-scale attacks on Iran resume.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I wonder who had the bright idea to let the world know we’re vulnerable at the moment? Seriously, who in our government or military sent that fact to the media? I’m sure the media was thrilled to post our weakness to the world. We get dragged into a Jewish war, use up almost all of our long range missiles, and now we have to worry about how safe we are because our military, under orders from the government, used up our long range missiles. Now I’m no genius, but who was in charge that allowed that to happen? At a million bucks a piece, I’m sure it isn’t like a grocery store where they were stored in a stockroom that maybe someone miscounted them, and they accidently ran out of Lucky Charms. Didn’t anyone say ‘Hey we better watch how many of these we’re using because our stock is getting low’? I’ll bet ‘little man’ in North Korea, Xi in China, and all other enemies of the United States have us in their sights right now. Sleep well.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
